Visit Mangrol Multimedia At National Book Trust World Book Fair Between 07-15 January 2017

Mangrol Multimedia is happy to announce its participation in the upcoming National Book Trust World Book Fair (NBTWBF) in New Delhi.

The NBTWBF is scheduled to be held between 07 and 15 January 2017, both days included. NBTWBF is Asia’s biggest book fair organized for the last 44 years.

Mangrol Multimedia’s stall is number 160 in the hall 12A of the NBTWBF.

For us, it is our second year in the NBTWBF, though we had visited this impressive Fair last year only to get a hands-on experience of it. We had an idea that NBTWBF is a big thing. However, visiting it in person was an eye opener.

We had seen sea of people heading towards the Pragati Maidan, New Delhi to be with books and literature. From roads to metro railway stations close to Pragati Maidan, we saw the same atmosphere everywhere.

On our first day at the Fair, we were truly mesmerized by its size and diversity. There were halls and inside them stalls. The halls very imaginatively allocated for specific subjects and or interests. Similarly, a large space was occupied by participants from abroad. Dedicated buses were plying visitors from one hall to another as it was impossible to cover the entire Fair walking. Delhi is a chilled city in January. At first, we felt we would enjoy Delhi’s winter well but within a couple of days, we realized that it was not as easy task. However, the heat generated by thousands of visitors in each hall made the inside air warmer than the outside. So, we would try moving from one hall to the other at the quickest pace.

And we did meet lots of interesting people there!



We made few good friends while visiting different stalls. They belonged to the field we are in and so, it was obvious we mingled well. We also met few writers, translators, designer and owners of companies like ours. That expanded our network of like-minded associates. In one of the halls, we also happened to come across a stall that belonged to a multimedia company. We had a chat and learnt that they had a really fruitful time at NBTWBF. Not only that they spread a good word about their business activities among visitors, but they also got good business during the week-long Fair. It was then that we had wished to visit the NBTWBF again in 2017 as a participant.

As we kept visiting stall after stall, we collected lots of promotional material from the stall holders, ranging from leaflets to visiting cards to bags and samples. We were also offered free books by several stall holders and we accepted those of our interest. Yes, we also did buy books from many stalls. The best part was that we got to see numerous books at one place and got discounts on our purchases. What else a book lover would ask for?!
