SUNDAY PROVED TO BE A GREAT STARTER: A LOOK INTO THE WORLD OF NEW DELHI WORLD BOOK FAIR 2017
DAY TWO:
After a slow start, thanks to chilling weather, early morning rain and obvious extra time participants
need to set things and get familiar with things, on Saturday, the New Delhi World Book Fair 2017
(NDWBF 2017) has a fantastic second day on Sunday. Visitors started flocking Pragati Maidan gates
well before the opening time of 11 am. Participants too reached to their stalls well in time, or even
before time, so that they could meet and greet book lovers.
We also reached to gate 7 of Pragati Maidan couple of minutes before 11 am. Our hall 12A was closer from it than from gate 01, so we walked up to it. Within no time, we were back to action. The first we had to do was put our video presentation on. I had reworked on it yesterday after finding some issues with the video file.
Today, however, it worked absolutely the way it should. Our stall is located just opposite one of the
entrances of the hall 12A, and very close to the another entrance. Besides, the performance area is
right in front of us, which means people spend more time in this part of the hall than usual. This
should prove helpful to us, I think.
We have a Marathi participating stall from Pune next to us. Thanks to this, we feel like being home
and get few opportunities to speak Marathi just like we do so in Mumbai!
